Trading name: BinAIskIT
Contact: appunautreregard@gmail.com
2. Data collected and purposes
2.1 Account and authentication
When you sign in to the app, you can use your Google, Apple or Facebook account. The following data is retrieved from the identity provider:
- E-mail address
- Name (first name and/or surname)
- Unique user identifier provided by Google / Apple / Facebook
Purpose: identify your account, retrieve your personal journal across sessions, and let you continue your journey on another device.
Legal basis: performance of the requested service (Article 6.1.b GDPR).
2.2 Reflections and perspectives
When you write a thought and request insights, the text you have entered together with the sources you have selected is transmitted to an artificial intelligence service (Anthropic — Claude API) in order to generate the perspectives.
The perspectives received, together with your original thought and a timestamp, are stored in your personal journal.
Purpose: deliver the core service of the app (perspective generation, history, tracking).
Legal basis: performance of the requested service.
2.3 Emotional tracking
If you use the emotion wheel or the emotional timeline, the emotions you name and their timestamps are recorded on your device so that you can visualise your journey over time.
Purpose: provide a personal emotional journal.
Legal basis: performance of the requested service.
2.4 Sending perspectives by e-mail
You may choose to send a session by e-mail (your thought + the perspectives received) to the address of your choice. This sending is performed via the third-party service Resend. The e-mail also includes a copy sent to the publisher's administrative address (appunautreregard@gmail.com) for the purpose of improving the quality of the service and follow-up.
Purpose: let the user keep a written trace, and let the publisher improve the quality of perspectives.
Legal basis: consent (you explicitly trigger the sending) and the publisher's legitimate interest in improving the service.
3. Data that is NOT collected
- No advertising, no advertising tracker (no pixel, no advertising cookie).
- No behavioural analytics or marketing tracking tool (no Google Analytics, no Firebase Analytics, no Facebook Pixel).
- No collection of your contact list, GPS location, microphone, camera or photo gallery.
- No audience measurement or usage statistics sent to our servers.
4. Recipients of the data
Your data may be transmitted to the following recipients, exclusively for the purposes described above:
- Anthropic, PBC (United States) — provider of the Claude API used to generate perspectives. The texts you enter pass through their servers. Anthropic commits to not using these data to train their models in the context of API access.
- Resend, Inc. (United States) — e-mail sending service used when you request e-mail delivery.
- Google, Apple, Meta (Facebook) — only if you choose to sign in via their identity services.
- Website host: Netlify, Inc. (United States), for this informational website.
5. Transfers outside the European Union
The Anthropic, Resend, Google, Apple, Meta and Netlify services may host or process data in the United States. These transfers are governed by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and, where the providers are eligible, by their certification under the Data Privacy Framework.
6. Retention period
- Personal journal and emotional history: kept on your device as long as you use the app. You can delete them at any time from within the app, or by uninstalling it.
- Account: kept as long as you keep the app installed and signed in. Account deletion can be requested at any time (see section 8).
- E-mails received at the administrative address: kept for a maximum of 24 months, then deleted.
- Technical logs: no technical logs are kept on the publisher's side.
7. Security
Communications with third-party services (Anthropic, Resend, Google, Apple, Facebook) take place exclusively over encrypted HTTPS / TLS. API keys are protected and never travel through your device in an exploitable form. The personal journal is stored locally on your device in a database encrypted by the operating system.
8. Your rights
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act, you have the following rights:
- Right of access: obtain a copy of the data concerning you.
- Right of rectification: correct inaccurate data.
- Right to erasure (right to be forgotten): request deletion of your data.
- Right to portability: receive your data in a structured format.
- Right to object and to restrict processing.
- Right to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.
To exercise any of these rights, write to appunautreregard@gmail.com stating your request. A reply will be provided within a maximum of one month.
If, after contacting us, you believe your rights are not respected, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL): www.cnil.fr.
